At thinkRED we strive to be on the leading edge of technology and the arts, and there is no better place for these two passions to come together than in the form of film. This is the area that brings new software techniques and graphic design together with pure artistic creativity and personal experience.

Film is a very special medium for exploring these techniques and at thinkRED we allow our technical specialists and designers to let themselves go and become involved in film projects from a number of avenues.

thinkRED film produces short film projects by partnering with talented filmmakers and providing them with the support they need to bring their ideas to the screen. We keep up to date with the latest in film production by attending a number of international film festivals each year and by providing support to local film associations.

As parents of budding filmmakers we saw the need for a really good "hands on" program for kids - so we went out and created one. The program runs in school holidays and is supported by the great staff at Open Channel who let us take over the run of the place for a week with a bunch of excited kids.
