documentary production

Documentary filmmaking is a fascinating field. It is the stuff of life. Good, bad, ugly, delicate, touching, and nauseating. We just can’t imagine being part of a documentary film shoot without becoming part of the shoot – filming, editing, sound, lighting, and the real issue of why these filmmakers are onsite in the first place. What’s the story? Why film here? Who needs to know? Who should know?

We’re still learning what it takes to bring the stuff of life to the screen, but some of our recent forays into documentary production have certainly taught us a lot about the stuff, the life and the screen, and we’re looking forward to learning lots more!
